Our 2020 Fruit Sales have started!
Why We Sell FruitFranklin County Ag Education and FFA students sell fruit each year, not only as a fundraiser, but as a business project. The sale is completely student-run. Students select products, set prices, analyze costs, project profits, prepare sales materials, advertise, prepare customer prospect lists, set sales goals, coordinate product deliveries, sort products, plan delivery logistics, and reflect at the end of the sale to determine what processes need to be improved for the following year. Students who sell fruit improve their leadership and communication skills, and learn sales and marketing strategies. The profit from this fundraiser fuels the many leadership, community service, and career development opportunities FFA members and Ag Education students participate in throughout the year.
